Hello Foodies!
What a time to be starting a blog for Harrisburg Food Tours. Just one month ago, we were on the cusp of rolling out a new tour and a few really exciting ventures and now, our city has been shut down due to the infamous COVID-19 (aka the Coronavirus).
Our partners have had to close at the behest of our governor for the public good – no one wants to spread this virus, especially not our restaurants. As you can imagine, being a small, local business like these restaurants, even closing for a few weeks severely affects our financial status.
In an effort to help out our foodie community, we wanted to spotlight some of our restaurant partners on our Instagram – this is more than just giving you updates on whether they are closed or not. We’re going to share some insights into why we chose them for our food tour and what makes them some of the most delicious and interesting places to eat in Harrisburg!
Even though they may be closed or only doing take out and/or curbside delivery, these restaurants and specialty stores are definitely still worth our support!
